Before Ridgeline, the founder spent over a decade in operations and management roles — building systems, fixing processes, and turning around underperforming businesses from the inside. The pattern was always the same: good owners working incredibly hard, leaving money on the table because nobody had helped them build the right systems.
The move to Western North Carolina made it personal. Walking down Main Street in Sylva, eating at locally-owned restaurants in Waynesville, shopping at boutiques in Bryson City — it became clear that these businesses were the economic backbone of the community, and most of them were operating without the kind of strategic support that larger companies take for granted.
